Should have posted in the technical section , but probably quickest solution is re-download and install !.

Just re-install the game, this has happend to me and i just re-installed and it worked fine.

Turn off any antivirus that could be potentially blocking Cross Fire at all. It seems that while you were downloading Cross Firae, you're antivirus forced your download to skip, or 'clean' essential files. By doing so, these essential files are detected as missing on start-up, and you won't be able to play.

1. Turn off your antivirus program (AVG, McAfee, Panda, Avira, Norton, etc.)
2. Uninstall Cross Fire (Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, Cross Fire En)
3. Second check to make sure your antivirus is off (Check Task Manager Process List)
4. Download the newest client from Z8Games website
5. Install

Sometimes simply disabling your antivirus will not keep it from blocking the Cross Fire download, so please attempt to turn the antivirus completely off. If you're antivirus isn't allowing you to do so, I suggest removing it, because everyone should have complete control over the things they download.

i don't use Antivirus i dowloand last version of crossfire and i have this problem ;(
