cant start the game... help?

so i press the crossfire game shortcut and it opens browswer that says "game start" and all that stuff, but their are 2 boxes that i assume are supposed to show something but they dont, all they say is naviagation to this web page is canceled

and when i press game start it says

run-time error '5':
invalid procedure call or arguement

p.s. im running windows vista on a gateway laptop

this game worked before but i stopped playing a deleted it now it doesnt work =(

i got vista and a gateway laptop. but this has never hppened to me hmm. always try to uninstall and reinstall first. if that doesnt work submit a support ticket

I highly dought that a support ticket will do anything in this situation. Reinstall it after uninstalling it, then post what your problem is. Either than that, its your computer, you probably messed something up.

Try running the game as an Administrator.

Right click on the CF icon, click on Properties, then on run as Administrator.

Thats not the problem. He is getting an error, you only do that when your game simply doesnt start.

cant start the game... help?
