Windows 7 Choppy Gameplay? [Registry]?
BACKGROUND:
I decided to get back on my account the other day after about a year of not playing CrossFire and to my surprise i remembered my ID and Password, but when i downloaded the client and started playing i noticed that when i would move the mouse around it would become really choppy, or everything would turn for a split second then stop then turn then stop etc. I checked my ping and it was anywhere from 60-110 but nothing above that. When i first made this account, i was using windows vista. I remember times my ping could be up to 300 and i'd still not have this effect. Close to when i stopped playing this game, i had bought another windows 7 computer which caused the same problems i'm having now. I recall having to either add or delete a registry entry, but no one I've talked to remembers what it is. So...
IN SHORT: Registry entry to add / remove for smooth Gameplay?

I believe you have some sort of hardware failure. Mainly due to Winblows 7.
Unplug your mouse and keyboard, change their USB slots. Might help.
But I do recommend you either...
Update the f*ck out of your PC , or downgrade to Windows XP or Vista. =D
There's nothing to do with Crossfire about the registry it's all good. Even when Windows 7 beta was out, I played it just fine, (when they had fixed the anti-hack) not sure what your problem is, but try what I said see if it helps. -
