Game freezes afterwards computer is very slow!!!

So I was playing CF for an hour or so and than all the sudden my screen froze. The belly of my computer was pretty hot and I had no option but to push the power button. When I restart my windows is VERY VERY SLOW. Like it takes ages for it to load the right click. I tried restarting but to no avail. Any tips and solutions?

my fan was really hot. could it be that it overheated? any other source of problems?

But do have a look at your cooling system as any dust gathered around the fan would cause poor cooling.

I honestly don't know, it worked perfectly fine in safe mode. Maybe its the virus, when I was conducting a search on maleware bytes, i found 2 viruses relating to games maybe?

Okay, rule number one of ANY computer. NEVER PUSH THE POWER BUTTON TO TURN IT OFF. That ruins your hard drive and will cause hard drive errors. If you push the power button to turn it off frequently, your computer will start starting up slow, running slow, and end up having hard drive failure which means you can't even start up your computer fully anymore. Get your computer checked. Get some maintenance done. Possibly a new hard drive.

IGNORE THREAD FIXED. I think it was due to a virus. probably from my sister's random website where she watches pokemon.... lame
