Crossfire Automatic Close.
Yes, I've played crossfire for over four years. Yet? For the previous two months, when everyone was experiencing the X-Trap Issue. Well, my crossfire never seemed to work. So? I re-installed it and did the long ass update. I was like yay! It worked but, it returned to the same error. ( * Doesn't Say Anything *) - After it loads patcher.exe ( Updated ) it never moves on to the next sequence aKa X-Trap , HGW. Once it does Patcher.exe it automatically closes Crossfire and doesn't even start nor load itself. Any suggestions? This has occured for far to long.

Anyways, the point is, all my anti-virus's aren't the issue okay. Crossfire has ran smoothly with my anti-virus's which includes Norton Anti-Virus. Then again I have a custom computer. ( Not a standard Windows 7. ) that isn't the issue either. Its worked fine before, and yes it was Close Beta. -___- Don't try me,

You're suppose to have only one...
Also Norton Anti-Virus is horrible. I don't think you've had the same computer for the last four years. Since Windows 7 was released in 2009. Has your computer gone through any changes or something? -
Norton is my only Anti-Virus and It's set up to ignore anything related to Z8Games that is why it never effects it. Yes, I have had the same computer for the past four years. I reformatted from , XP to Windows 7. Either way, it worked when I was on Windows 7 Peferctly fine

I know you say your Anti-Virus is not the issue, but have you actually uninstalled it completely and tried the game then? Maybe even delete Z8 games folder after that and install Crossfire again, try the game and then install Norton afterwards.
Any Anti-Virus program (in fact any program in general) can suddenly stop working as intended, through updates or other glitches. Even if you have allowed the Z8 games folder through Norton, windows files the game uses may still be filtered through Norton and if there is something it doesn't like it can prevent it from running.
Many times I've heard people say a game has worked fine with their anti-virus, then all of a sudden it stops loading. As it worked fine before with anti-virus they assume that wont be the problem but after uninstalling it the game works again.
It's obviously annoying when a game you like playing won't run so if you haven't tried that its worth giving a shot. Even if it doesn't work, at least then you can rule that out as the cause.
I also recommend the Norton removal tool. If there is a problem with Norton itself, uninstalling the normal way may leave traces behind which can still cause issues.

CyberCatUK I have a legit version not a cracked version like you people more than likely have. ( Norton ) ~ I'll disable norton and re-install Crossfire and this this sense this stuff.
It doesn't make any difference what version you have, Norton is Norton and I don't use it all now, after I used to work in support for many years sorting out countless peoples problems with it. -
Yes my bad, You're right I meant X-Trap. Ussually right when I click "Start on the Crossfire" it loads the patcher. Directly after it finishs, nothing-... five seconds-...nothing- 1minute... Check Task Manager < Crossfire.exe isn't listed nor, HGCW. or w/e. nothing is listed.

Can you list your computer specifications?
This thread will help with examples on what kind of info we'll need:
Examples on how to properly file a bug report on this board
The important thing here is to figure out if its possible to recreate the issue from Z8's end. -
