Game client corruption

Well I've tried reinstalling cf several times... but I don't really know what to do about it, I've uninstalled it and re-downloaded from all sorts of websites but it just won't work. Any help would be much appreciated..

Have tried to turn your anti-virus software off before you download Crossfire?

I don't have an anti-virus, I live life on the edge..

Did you make sure that you deleted everything from Crossfire?

Make sure your video card drivers are updated

It's working now, but now my ping is like double what it is normally..

i have the same problem but i dont think i have an anti virus and it wont work
