Windows XP + crossfire + 120hz = not compatibile?

When I try to play on 120hz in xp crossfire starts but only in windowed mode. Lower refreshing rates work. Happens only in windows xp, W7 works fine.

The lobby can be set to windowed or fullscreen. You can toggle this in your settings. Game-play is only played in fullscreen. Also, centered if you have Intel graphics to change panel fit. So, which part is the problem occurring in?
