Laptop specs help please

I'm looking into getting a new laptop and wondering if this one would be good for crossfire and moderate gaming in general:

i5 and 8g of ram but im not sure if dedicated AMD Radeon HD 7670M is a good graphics card or not.

How much fps should I get on crossfire?

I prefer HPs, I like this one here, but is there other models I should consider?

I think you could get something similar for ~$100 less. Are you only looking to play cf on it? Do you have any inkling to record quality? If you're only going to play cf, you can probably find something for around $650 that can play cf to where you don't experience any performance issues.

Not only crossfire. Heavy web browsing daily as well. School. Youtube. An occasional movie edit. But I want a laptop that I can play crossfire and some other games with decent quality, preferably about 100fps.

So that link says this is a middle class graphics card, is that a good thing? Will it run crossfire middle class then? I'm getting about 60fps now on my 6yo windows xp desktop but it runs really slow, and my laptop that just died hp pavillion dv9000 only gave me about a consistent 20fps if I was lucky

What do you mean by record quality?

Personally, Although there is a convenience in laptops i'd just go with desktops.

I Have:

Asus Desktop PC CM6330
Intel i5-2320 3.00GHz
8GB Ram
Nvidia Gforce GTX 550 Ti
650Watt PowerSupply
A Fancy Fan That Glows Blue Like My Mouse and Keyboard

All of It (Excluding Keyboard/Mouse) about $1100. To find a laptop with all the needed components to do all you want to do on it will be not only hard but expensive.

Edit: I get a solid 200FPS in Any Room in CF and 120-150 on BattleField.

The laptop is pretty good. The graphics is good, you'll get over 100fps on it. The processor is a bit slow but that's normal for a laptop.

I know desktops are better for gaming, but like what you said - Laptops are a convenience.

Would bumping up to an i7 really make much of a difference? Are most games processor-dependent or graphic card-dependent?

In general, Intel is a better processor I think, but how would the laptop above compare to this one:

If i7 is the way to go, how would this one shape up. It would probably be my second choice after the first link I posted:

Again, not sure if the graphics card is good or not, and a con of this laptop is that there is not a back-lit keyboard.

the computers "laptops" are not designed for FPS games, you just give it a misuse. if you want to play alone and watch youtube videos then try to buy a desktop computer.

AMD is better for gaming and intel is better for hard work.

AMD graphics processing is better and intel data processing is better. Both are good to play as long as you know assembles a PC.

No. I just said that if you want a good gaming PC purchase one of the latest AMD processor generations.

Intel is working hard to office and other things and AMD is characterized in the gaming world.

First at all. Do not believe in commercials and/or publicity

AMD processor is good for gaming but also need a good computer like RAM and a good video card.

Not sure , but it helps a lot in AMD like GPU and CPU.

but in my viewpoint I'd choosean AMD for gaming

Intel HD Graphics are NOT recommended for gaming at all. They are incompatible for the gaming industry. Those who use Intel HD Graphics to play, you will soon be playing below 50fps. AMD and nVidia are the best gaming graphics. AMD does both Gaming and Office but it's built more for GAMING purposes. You can get the exact quality on AMD chipsets for cheaper than nVidia. But nVidia does gaming only. Hardcore graphics but the cost isn't cheap. So, AMD is the best since it's compatible with all games and used to create most games.
