Loading Errors Possible Fixes Aug 23
Hello everyone!
Yesterday we updated X-Trap to stop some major hacks from entering into our game (yay). This however has come with a price for some users as it seems there have been some loading problems introduced with this latest patch.
We have been in contact with X-Trap and are awaiting a solution. We are also investigating other possible solutions for users to do in the mean time.
Please read below for the currently solution for ATI/AMD Graphics Card users (Radeon)!
For people without ATI/AMD cards, they may want to look for non beta or one-step older drivers to see if this helps fix the issue. We are investigating it further.
For people who get a specific X-Trap error involving xfire_toucan_45547.dll please try closing xfire before running Cross Fire. We are working to get this error fixed by X-Trap as well.

The latest version of Catalyst Control Center (version 12.8) does not run properly with this newest x-trap update.
In order to fix this problem you can uninstall your Catalyst Control Center and/or revert to an older version of CCC.
To download previous versions of CCC head to the AMD website here:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/previous/Pages/radeonaiw_xp.aspx
For the majority of people this should solve the problem until we can get an X-Trap fix.

I tried but the problem is all Downloadable files are for 32 bits, i'm running on Windows 7 64bits -
my issue isnt exactly getting an error. its simply my cf was running just fine monday or tuesday. then i went to open cf the next day, it loaded xtrap and the "gmw" w/e it is. but after that it never opened xtrap nor did it ever open the game. it simply did nothing, as if i never even tried to run cf. its my firewall, i turned it off just incase it was, then i reinstalled cf, and it still wont open. is this the same thing or a completly different problem?

well im not even sure if im hanving the same issue. its loading my auto patcher, xtrap, and hgw game watcher completely. but once its done that it just simply stops, it never opens xtrap on my computer and never opens the login screen. almost as if i never even attempted to open the program at all.
