Loading freezes @ Saidin

Ok I think this must be the CCC because two of my clan guys have CCC version 1.6 and I am running CCC 1.8

one of the guys updated his CCC to 1.8 and his game no longer runs. His game is now freezing too.

One guy tried the roll back and it did not work he uninstalled and is re-installing it now and going to go with the 1.6 to see if it works will keep you posted

aw snap, Saidin posted a rollback suggestion in another thread, now I look like a copycat.

Thanks, this is our best lead at the moment as it seems a lot of people reporting this problem are running AMD/ATI video cards.

Found fix

This is MegasAngel's clanmate that updated from CCC 12.6 to 12.8 and found that it no longer worked. I have since uninstalled 12.8 and I am back in the game running.

Therefore it is version 12.8 that is causing the problem. Version 12.6 can be downloaded from AMD website.

Thanks for this. We're also confirming this on our test pc's right now.

We'll be updating with announcements once on this fix.

X-Trap updated yesterday to stop a major hook which involves a hack that hooks into directx and video cards. This update combined with the Beta 12.8 drivers released by ATI on August 15th is likely the problem which people are having. We'll be in contact with both companies to make sure this problem gets fixed asap.

I downloaded that! And now it won't even get to the login .
