'XTrap' issue (Might be unusual)
After downloading a part of 'Black Prophecy'(paused it for a long time. btw it contains at least more than 1 GB, sci-fi rpg online game), XTrap blocked me from running CrossFire(Happened when i turned on the computer from sleep mode).
After that i wasn't ''so'' surprised(i thought you guys would fix this someday), instead i resumed downloading the game(without realizing it could be the problem), playing and stuff but still i miss CrossFire so now im here making this post.
Question 1:
Are there any files(from other games)that can affect XTrap/CrossFire from outside their folder?
Question 2:
Can 'Panda Media Booster'(anti-cheat program or something included to the game) affect it too?
Question 3:
Should i delete all the 'Black Prophecy' files or could it be something else?
Ask me if you guys need further information about my computer or something else.
Thank you for reading!

Just trying to understand what happened.
You downloaded a part of the game? Then paused the download and tried to run CF?
What about after the download was finished?
The way the game is downloaded might have some outside affect on x-trap but it's unconfirmed. The best way to trouble shoot that is to finish the download of the other game and then try to run CF to see if it works. If it does, then awesome. If it doesn't then there is likely something with the downloader for that other game or the other game that may be involved.
You could also just try uninstalling the game (an install file for another game won't affect CF). If CF runs with the game uninstalled then great, if it runs with the other game installed then even better! But you can test these cases yourself.
Pando won't cause any problems with CF. -

To be sure, is this x-trap code field(NA, tested EU but it's still the same) different from the most of the other peoples threads?

Becuase i read some of them and i think it is. Maybe i should erase the 'Black Prophecy' files after all.
This is a stupid question to me, but i'm still hoping that you got enough clues for situations like these. -

In the window that xtrap pops up there's a screen cap button, it takes a screenshot can you upload that here?
The x-trap pop up window gives a code, but it also lists the dll or process that is causing problems. So I want to see what that is to try and see if we can do anything about it. -

I need a quick lesson how to upload screenshots. -

Here's the picture of the xtrap window that pops up after trying to run crossfire. Send me a reply message [GM]Saidin if you've done reading/watching, just to cool me down.
The way i paused the 'Black Prophecy' download is that i clicked the button that says 'Finish the download later', then it closes the downloader and turning it into a shortcut on my desktop, the shortcut disappears after running the downloader again however. -

I doubt that the download of another program would affect CF. But to eliminate the possibility just resume the download of 'Black Prophecy' until it's complete.
Once it's complete you can then try CF to see if you get the same error.
The code could be related to anything from a hack to a virus or spyware/malware. So it's tough to diagnose at this point in time until we eliminate all the other factors. -

I've already completed the download before i created this thread.
What i remember is that i've paused the download like a month and still i could play crossfire. When i started it again, it says the downloader is too old. So i logged into their website and got the new downloader. I don't exactly remember if the xtrap blocked me before or after i started the new downloader.
I wonder if the old downloader can possibly affect CrossFire/X-TRAP after the new downloader have released. Becuase x-trap blocked me for a random reason i didn't know when the computer was in sleep mode. I've deleted all downloaders/junk and it still doesn't work.
I got one question: Can cheats/hacks/custom clients(related to 'Minecraft') affect the CrossFire game as well? -

While X-Trap can pick up active hacks for other games, I don't believe any custom content for Mincecraft should affect the download. However it would be best to test running the game without those files on your computer.
Lets go back here and figure out what the order of everything is.
You downloaded another game, paused the download for an extended period of time and were still able to play Cross Fire.
You finished the download of the other game and now have been unable to play Cross Fire.
I've tested both scenarios and CF works fine for me. There has to be another process you're running while you are trying to play CF that is conflicting.
If you try to run the game and get the xtrap error can you screenshot your process list and put it here? It might have some clues to help you out. -

I always get this empty file folder named 'CFLog' on my harddrive memory after deleting it and trying to run CrossFire. Is this folder somehow related to crossfire? -

If i remember correctly(i think it was 1-3 years ago).
I got into a scam-site suggested by a friend in real life. After giving out password and username for golden weps and stuff i saw that somebody already logged in to my account when i started crossfire, so i changed my password as fast as i could and my account was saved. After a few days i found the folder named 'CFLog' that contains two or more 'notes' named something like ''crashlogs'', after reading the notes i realized that those notes should never excist on my computer, so i deleted them(except the folder). -

The CF Logs folder is related to crash information for the game. It will always recreate itself when necessary by CF.
If you've got a virus, malware, spyware or some sort of keylogger on your computer this could a) get detected by xtrap and not let you in or b) compromise your account further preventing you from getting in.
Make sure to clean your computer of all viruses, even if that means uninstalling CF and downloading a new copy after the scans have been complete.
In addition to this, please do not go to other websites claiming or offering free weapons/zp etc. They are scams. -

Do you recommend a program that deletes/cleans files? I've heard of 'CCleaner' but im not sure if it's the best.
