Problem with loading Game!!

Hay guys i recently had the AVG issue but solved it already. But now when i click on start, the game starts to do its normal loading , does the autopatch load ,then the Xtrap load, then finaly the HGW load and at the end it says changing my background settings in order to play the game. But once all that loaded my screen does a slight glitch twice (were normaly it would switch to my CF screen) but then it never goes to my CF screen, and just goes back to normal and i basically end back out. I am wondering if any1 else is having this problem as well. I would greatly appreciate if som1 can help me in this . Thanx
