  • Wasup Kahlan im on my alt because i dont trust this computer. But E2Blatant is right about that. What type of mouse are you using? I "had" the deathadder and I had a major issue with that in CF. CS 1.6 i had no issues. But you download the drivers off of the razer website and set your polling rate to 125 hz. It slows down your reaction time but atleast you dont feel that floating feel. I switched to steel series because in their drivers they have a option called exact aim, it basically helps with path correction and thats what you are experiencing. You can keep your polling rate at 500 hz and not be wavey. LOL anyways if you look at tech. forums slant posted a fix, or just go to your mouses website, good luck.
  • I had the same problem. My mouse always worked fine, but 3 days ago there was a Xtrap patch and after that patch my mouse started lagging to. So what i did is: Computer > C Station > Program Files > Z8games > Crossfire > Xtrap, then i checked the files that were last updated (can see at date) then i clicked the right mouse button on that file and clicked RESTORE PREVIOUS VERSIONS, and i did that to all files ( i had 3 files). Then i started CF and Xtrap patched again the same files. After that i logged in to CF, i had no mouse lagg anymore :D

    Hope this helped ;)

    Razer Lachesis. Only happens in CrossFire... which is ironic considering Razer is a sponsor of CrossFire CN. I used to use the best mouse in the world, the microsoft optical mouse but I just broke it a couple months ago. Will check out slant's post... Razer website says jack all.

    I just downloaded CF again and this problem was present way back when I first bought this mouse then shelved it around a year go. I'll give this a try though.
  • Bump, finally tried putting the rates to 125 hz and tried some of Slant's suggestions.

    None of them work, mouse still moves in waves.
  • Still moving like water running up a beach. Someone fix so I can play this game.
  • Mionix Naos, same problem regardless of hertz
    running as administrator and all that.

    wondering if running in xp-comp mode might work?
    mouse worked fine with the same settings on xp, now on win 7.

    threadjacked.
  • The WMO is still available, just do some digging.

    WMO = Wheel Mouse Optical.
    If you liked it so much why don't you buy another one?
  • Oh, I thought it was called OWM not WMO.

    I need this Razor mouse for some other games and I am used to it now. Also, I had to buy the Microsoft OWM off of NewEgg. Microsoft only carries the black one now.

    Just to play CrossFire. I think not.
