failed to download version.ini

help i was playing crossfire as usual i closed it 1 hour and when i come to open it

it says faild to download version .ini

i turned off anti virus and reinstall nothing happened please help

yeah i randomly started getting this too. its annoying lol. i searched for old threads about this but no one really had a solution. downloading a replacement version.ini didnt seem to help at all.
