Your a hack, NO your a hack.
Ok i downloaded Crossfire three days ago, i am really enjoying it so far apart from some minor glitches/problems. but what i dont understand about this game is why does everyone have to accuse everyone else of being a hacker in this game. ive been called it since game one and was just curious to why theres such a big deal about this.

way to not be called a hacker - BE FRIENDLY! but seriously, like when you die say nice shot and dont tbag people and all that kinda stuff. make friends with people etc.
Way#2: Bribe them with your guns, Glock, Anaconda or any of the rare guns from Black Market for couple of rounds....
Works most of the time, fails sometime specially in Ghost Mode -
With them calling you a hacker i just take it as them saying im good. Right now in CF your either a noob or a hacker, theres no such thing as pro now. Beside from the actual hackers, if your not hacking and you get called a hacker just take it in as them calling you a pro. I get called a hacker all the time but funny thing is i never get kicked.

Unfortunately, even with regular patches we can't always keep up with every hack on the market.
HOWEVER, that does not always mean that every hack works and that everyone is hacking the game.
I was in the game yesterday for multiple hours and didn't see any hackers. And if anyone WAS using some sort of wall/chams hack they certainly didn't impact on my game. (probably because they sucked)
During our switch to z8 games we encountered delays in patching the game, and that included delays on banning hackers, dealing with hackers etc. This caused a general mentality switch of most of the players to assume that everyone was hacking.
But we're back to a regular banning schedule and patching the game with fixes, updates and hack fixes. Hopefully we can switch the mentality back to what it was in the summer time after we patched the public speed hack. -

Ever since those speedhacks went away since that one patch the game is fine with me. I didnt see many hackers for awhile minus the odd knive thrower but even if theres hacks out there those hackers must suck. Im actually beginning to like the game more and more now. I didnt even have to report people in the last week/week in a half

Edit: Saidin must be happy about that lawl. I dont have to keep him working LOL

This game is free so most of CF is around 12. Just try to ignore it, you don't need to type in-game, just get some friends/clan on vent.
If you get called a hacker just post a smiley face. -
I have seen ONE actual hack in the last week and yet I get kicked out of 4-6 games a day for hacking. All I play is pistol matches; ace em, get kicked, get nothing. It's really frustrating. This is my first FPS, been playing since late June. Worked hard to improve and all I get is this lame "Kick me" sign.

As daniel8u said just be friendly start a conversation even if it's with your team they are the ones who will kick you if they believe it... But I'll admit there have been times where I've been fed up with it and spoke back against 'em
But tbh the only time I get it is when I use my Uzi in a GM and for some reason no one likes getting killed with it

If I'm called hacker (Mostly its someone else than me, 'cause I'm not good player, but really! I've been called hacker!) I just ask 'why you think I'm hacking?'
And after that I type '*Giggles*' And smiley face.
Usually it's enough when they can't prove their accusations.
And I like to play with someone who know me in game.
If someone else is called hacker in the same game I am, I ask the same question, lurking the player for a few rounds and almost everytime see one clear thing: He/She, The called Hacker one, is only Skillful player.
And I tell that to everyone in game if I just can. <*^-^*> -
because most players are younger than 14 years oldTrulyFUBAR1 wrote: »Ok i downloaded Crossfire three days ago, i am really enjoying it so far apart from some minor glitches/problems. but what i dont understand about this game is why does everyone have to accuse everyone else of being a hacker in this game. ive been called it since game one and was just curious to why theres such a big deal about this. -
