The G36 is quite a decent close combat rifle. It's got a better short-medium range spray than most of the other rifles and does good damage. While it's not top notch for taking out targets at range, it can pull it off. As with any gun, however, I'd recommend you test it out before you buy.

i believe it is the best rifle for close range, unless somehow you miss and cannot kill them. The reload will slow you down a bit.
The scope is totally useless unless your really good.

yeah xD. i've noticed a weird damage decay effect on it... get either an m4, scar, or ak47 (my fav), they pwn at close range

dont even think about ignoring my post cuz i just sold my xm8, sg552, and qbz for the gun it is soooooo worth it the first game i did with it was 20/5 then sec 57/15 now dont ignore this post i love the g36 its better than the xm8 cuz better scope and less recoil
I WILL NEVER PART WITH MY G36 AS LONG AS I LIVE! (unless i get a kriss or ak knife,scope,or gold mabes camo)
