Nothing happens after game watcher
Did a reinstall, full reinstall, rebooted, turned off xfire and everything else. Was working perfectly earlier then just stopped when I tried 30 minutes later. I'm not uninstalling my AV because that's stupid. I need to finish my badge before the badge%+ item runs out.

You can temporary turn off your AV.
Just use google to find out how to turn off the one you use. -

Nothing has changed with the servers as far as we know. Not sure why this would just all of a sudden stop loading after the HGWC finishes it's check.
We're checking server stability now, but nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. -
I'm having the same issue bit it was after the game watcher update.
Same here...
Saturday is my only day off from work, I work as assistant manager in an extremely busy restaurant so I have no other time of the week to play CF what so ever, early start - late finish kind of routine. This issue is a real pain in the back side for me, I NEED to play ghost mode!
hope it gets sorted by next Saturday, or possible Thursday

just turn off your ****in antivirus before you start the crossfire application playing !! and after you stop playing turn it on again!
same happens to me if i let the antivirus running and turn on crossfire !
try that , it might work !
as for me it does -

For me that was the first thing I tried, disabling it even and same goes to windows firewall. -
I've got the same problem. I downloaded the newest version of CF client (v1100). Game is launching, HGWC window appears, it loads to step 12 (100%) and then it disappears. The process HGWC.exe in task manager disappears after few seconds. Nothing happens.
My OS is Windows XP SP3
I'm not using any Anti Virus system, I disabled Windows Firewall (I don't have any other firewalls). I have uninstalled IE 8 (I heard that IE 8 causes problems with X-trap, now I have IE 7 installed). Also, I opened ports as it was shown here (http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=79815).
I was playing CF before on this computer and it was ok.
Same happens on the other computer (also without AV).
Is it possible that the way I'm connecting to the internet is causing this problem?
I'm using wireless internet (Orange Free, modem Option Icon 515M). Both computers have the same internet provider.
Same happens when I'm trying to run Crossfire EU.
Any ideas? -

u don't want to get ur account blocked do u ?

its like a tool used by hackers so as not be detected by the x-trap
!
No, it just closes background services and programs and will not affect CrossFire in any way...Unless you use it while CrossFire is up.
