Game won't start
Hi,
I recently bought a new computer.
After installing crossfire whenever I press start hgw gets to step 12 than the screen will turn black for a second.
After that the colour scheme (not sure if it's called like that I'm using the dutch version of win7) changes and in the task manager says crossfire.exe is running.
And about 12 seconds later the screen turns black again the colour scheme changes back and crossfire.exe is gone from the task manager.
I've installed CF several times, I'm using the latest drivers and I've already used search.

The problem isn't the changing of the colour scheme.
This also happened on my laptop which still runs cf just fine.
The problem is that crossfire just refuses to start.
Because after the colour scheme changes nothing happenes.
It only shows my desktop before switching back to the other colour scheme. -

You've semi answered your question in this. If Cross Fire is working fine for you on your laptop but not on your PC then something about your PC is causing the problem.
What programs are you running in the background on your PC compared to your laptop?
What about other files like graphics drivers, or anti virus settings, firewalls etc. -

Apart from some bloatware I didn't notice anything different.
I'm currently using the latest drivers for my gpu and I had my AV an fire wall turned off.
