this is 5th time i got this error when i got this error my whole computer freeze and stuck so i have to plug off my pc which cause sudden shutdown which can damage my hardware so PLEASE TELL WHAT THE FU*K IS THIS **** ? -.-" i am so ****ed

I have the Same problem and i have redownloaded crossfire and reistalled.I still get the MFC Error and no i DO NOT use xfire. Please help me.

I got the same thing

Client MFC Application has stopped working.

Also in the description it says
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: crossfire.exe
Fault Module Name: XTrapVa.dll
some other things aswell but this is the basic thing...

I did try just about everything...clean install following instructions from gm, deleting the xtrap folder,replacing the xtrap files with a m8s files...I added the exceptions in AV and any spyware...

I had same problem and today I think I solved the problem, I completely uninstalled Comodo firewall and rebooted the PC. Now Crossfire works. I hope it helps!

I confirm what ITAL says...I had comodo firewall aswell, I uninstalled it and crossfire works once again.
