Weapon compare

Since the patch, the weapon compare has changed. It would seem that the yelow boxes indicate that a weapon is better than the other in that area. But I have seen the yellow box in the recoil section where the other weapon has less. A shorter bar should mean less weight and recoil, right ? Appreciate your help, thanks in advance,
