gun collector ribbon

for the gun collector ribbon i need 25 permanent weapons.. you already told me that my axe counts and my m16 and m700 dont. so that puts me at 25 weapons... do grenades count..? technically they are permanent weapons.

No, they don't, you should buy a few M9's and sell them after you get the ribbon.

I don't think you lose it, but I'm not sure so don't take my word for granted. I'd say wait till you got 19-29 ribbons then buy M9's. Then sell them when you get M4CC/10k GP

No, you won't lose it if you sold the M9s or any other weapon.

You mean SAIDIN is wrong?, I don't think so.
I know some people(friends) bought some M9s till they reached 25 weapons ,they waited until they received the ribbon and then they sold 'em all(except 1 i guess), and they still own the ribbon till today.

Your problem could be that you bought them and then sold 'em right up; you didn't wait for the ribbon.
When i first had 15 weapons i waited 3-4 days until i got the Gun Hobbyist ribbon.

hes just a normal person to and each person is wrong sometimes.
but i dont think hes wrong about this ribbon thing.

I didn't mean that SAIDIN would never be wrong, i meant that what he said was tested and approved by many users.

And like you, i won't buy a gun and then sell and lose GP just to get a ribbon.

Lol, just to clarify,
Grenade don't count,
And you DO lose the ribbon if you sell your guns.
(Personal experience)

That's how it is now.
But when the ribbon was first released, you wouldn't lose it if you sold your weapons.

Well, I had the ribbon a few days after When the ribbon was released,
I had that ribbon for around a year now and I lost it cuz I sold my weapons.

dont matter when you earn the ribbon. its about now what would happen now if you dont have 25 guns.
