Everytime I try to open Crossfire, Windows 8 shuts down. So, I tried running it on compatibility mode, by using Windows XP (SP3), and it didnt work since the anti-cheat says its running on compatibility mode... Any help??????

they will do something about it once windows 8 is officially released.

windows 8 isn't officially released hence the lack of support.

Just wait for the full release and Crossfire should be playable on it in a few weeks after that.

Excuses...it WILL be out, so to be a SMART company xtrap would HAVE to start working on support NOW, or they'd never hear the end of it when it finally released when their customers customers couldn't play their games on their OS...

And the reason WHY windows releases beta versions is so that vendors can test the system and write their programs to work with it IN ADVANCE...it's not just so people can ***** about not being able to see the "Desktop" tile and then claim there is not desktop anymore...
