Loading issues

Anyone experience slow CF loading recently?
Basically, loading CF up just to get to the login screen takes around 2x-3x longer now, and CPU usage is spiking up.

Next, transition into rooms is also taking forever, when you enter a room from the lobby, the games takes around 5 minutes to load, and once you get in the room, you get kicked out for idle time. Note that CPU usage spikes ridiculously during this loading process.

Another problem is after a match. Again, once you finish the match and get to the results screen, once you press exit, the extremely slow loading process starts again, probably cause you have to move into a room.

Anyone having this problem at all?
I might just reinstall CF and see what happens...

It's fine on my end, you probably just installed a program that uses the computer's resources, like an anti-virus or something similar. It's fine on my end.

It's not the PC, its CF as everything else loads fine.

If 3 people do not have the same problem you do, it's most likely you. As I said you probably just installed some new program.

I have noticed a small difference in the time it takes to load up each game. I would say it has increased 4-6 seconds longer. This is of little concern to me as I still get ingame fine and it is such a small time to wait.

Also sometimes it varies and may load almost immediately. In my opinion not much of a problem that affects the game much and it apparently hasn't been happening at least significantly enough for much people to notice.

Do you have any Custom UIs, music, text? If so take them off. My old computer was so slow because it could not handle the extra stuff.

It has become longer, but like 5 seconds more.

Usually takes me 1-2 min to load in the beginning to load the game up. and takes about 30 seconds to load my very first 'Match up. but after that it takes me.

5 seconds to load up the game.

2 seconds to load my match

I've had the exact same problem ever since the Ankara S&D update. It appears we're the only two facing this problem, though. Shame...

I tried a fresh reinstall (meaning removing every CrossFire aspect from my computer excluding the files in the My Documents folder) and it temporarily fixed my problem for a week or so. Try that.
