minimize the game.....

guys my gaming laptop charger is dead so my main laptop is dead but i have this another laptop but when i wanted to minimize the game on my main laptop i just press esc and ctrl and the game minimized but on my this laptop when i click esc and ctrl game wont minimize :S
need help i want to minimize game while its still running
my main gaming laptop specs :
intel core i3
3 gb ddr 3
ati hd 5740 1 gb ddr 3
win 7 home premium 64 bit
320 gb hdd
my this laptop :
intel core 2 duo t6400 2.00 ghz (2cpus)
2 gb ddr2
mobile intel(R) 4 series express chipset family
win xp sp3 32 bit
250 gb hhd

Esc and ctrl?

Try alt and tab? Specs aren't really important here.

Sometimes you need to have a window open to be able to minimize the game, try starting task manager with ctrl alt and delete and keep the window open to be able to switch windows.

when i press ctrl alt del it closes the game.... lol

What about keeping a random window open? Your browser for example, then try pressing alt and tab again.
