Attention all Cross Fire fans!
Olympic fever is building all over the world and as we get ready to watch the best athletes compete for fame, glory and gold in London at the Olympics, but that is not the only competition going on! We are also setting up our own Summer Games Event here in Cross Fire!
The Cross Fire Summer Games will take place on the CF Servers between July 27th and August 12th.
The Cross Fire Summer Games will be comprised of 15 server and game-wide events that will challenge ALL players to gather together and become Cross Fire Olympians!
The 15 Events for the CF Summer Games include events such as:
Prizes will be awarded to all players based on the amount of time they have spent in game and based on how many challenges get completed between July 27 and August 12.
There will be a Bronze Prize awarded when 5 challenges are complete, a Silver Prize for 10 challenges and a Gold for completing all 15 challenges!
The Gold Medal Prize will include an exclusive Summer Games 2012 Ribbon and huge weekend event!
Starting July 27th you all get a chance to be a Cross Fire Olympian! Will you rise to the occasion?

- Total number of Headshots on all servers
- Total number of Clan Wars fought on the Clan Server
- Total number of Escape Mode 'escapes'
- Total number of C4 Setup and Defuses
- And more!

I read the first one, and know this won't be awarded to legit players.
How are you gonna keep track of whos farming them? How do we know that our efforts will be rewarded?
There is always going to be someone who abuses the limitations of any rule we set.
We will be looking at legitimate players though, people who have been banned for hacking previous will not qualify for the reward.
However with us tracking server-wide statistics it means that everyone will have to contribute small or large in order to ensure that everyone gets the prize.
The Olympics themselves are about individual competition, but since that is unfair to award just one person a prize (who would no doubt farm) for something this gives the best way to make everyone feel like they are part of something larger.
That feeling is a feeling that I am sure all Olympians get. -

So people who used a hack 2 years ago and didn't used any illegal programm since then won't be able to be part of it?

Our goal moving forward is to reward legitimate play more often. Even if that just means removing eligibility for people who have hacked.

I hope people who saw that the thing they did was false and are legit players now will get a chance, too.
