failed to download patch file

As title says, I start up patcher and it gives me error message "failed to download patch file".

  Try doing this, go to C:/Program Files (86x)/Z8Games/CrossFire and run patcher_cf.exe that should work.

  I had this to, when I launched the game a 2nd time, it worked
