Patch Notes 19-07-2012 Summer Update!
Please be patient during the patching process. The servers are still down, the patch will automatically download and you will be able to launch the game from the launcher when the game goes live.

To celebrate the new map Spain SnD we will be having a special patch event with a Ribbon!

Replay Save Function
When you leave a game you will now be presented with an option to save your replay. Replay's will automatically be saved (if you choose this option) in your /Documents/Cross Fire/Replay folder as normal.

Weapon Purchase Functionality
There is a UI improvement when purchasing weapons from the mall. When you purchase a weapon you will now be presented with a screen which shows your bag loadouts and allows you to select where you want to place the weapon.
Note that selecting no loadout and closing this option will move the item to your storage.There is a UI improvement when purchasing weapons from the mall. Bug Fixes
Fixed a problem with a specific spot on GM Laboratory causing players to not make any walking sounds
Fixed a bug with the M37 Stakeout Firewall name - Yes it's called Firewall!
Fixed a damage zone bug in the Machine Room of Factory SnD
Fixed the text display on various weapons
Please note that we are monitoring two known problems:
Speed Defuse/Setup item display issue (the item works as intended this is display only)
Echo Server full issue
Until we are confident these are fixed they will remain listed as open issues which we are monitoring.Fixed a bug with the M37 Stakeout Firewall name - Yes it's called Firewall!

you can see the navy seal has new m4 sniper. I think is call SR-knight.

The Remington is a shotgun, so yes, a shotgun with a knife. Odd as it is. -

So a minor GM bug being fixed whereas the big one everyone has a problem with is still "being looked into"
Makes sense.
Bug fixes come in a variety of forms. In some cases they are fixed in our testing, or we can't reproduce them in testing, however they were addressed by the appropriate people and deemed solved.
In some of those cases we have to follow up and monitor it before we can just flat out declare "this bug is fixed".
For example, in testing we do not have an Echo Server, since the Echo Server is a live server and not a test one. We've done a few things over the past few weeks to try and fix this problem and have not seen a result yet. We continue to do this. But we can't out and say this is fixed because that would look just as bad as if we didn't say anything at all.
So yes, these things are being addressed. It's unfortunate that we can't convey this any more than we already have and that continued work on known bugs goes unappreciated. In the next one we will simply just not inform the public of any work being done towards fixing bugs. -
so...how long does this usually take? because I don't think it said how long its going to be.
Probably still another hour or so for the maintenance.
During the maintenance time we also take the opportunity to back up databases, perform hardware upgrades and service and just make sure everything's working fine!
We'll be sure to announce when the server is coming back up. -

We are aware that there is a problem with the XM1014-A not stacking in the Cross Fire inventory when won from the AK47 Liquid Metal Crates. Please log out of the game and log back in and the item should stack as normal. We will be getting a hotfix for this soon.
