Also, it doesn't require skills to make a tutorial as long as everything is understood. But yeah I can probably bunny hop circles around you. if you have problems with me take it elsewhere, this is a thread about the tutorial last time i checked.
and at not wanting to 1v1 me, nice dodge, scrub.
Z8Games > Cross Fire > Cross Fire Barracks > Fan Works
This is fan works, something about creativity not about guide.
Also I camp a ramp ? I take the middle 70% of the time, toward the ghost spawn so gg saying such things. My memory has no flaw about that match and I will let me remember you I took that screenshot by comming from b site going to a site. So gg. Skills is when you can understand a mechanic to perform it well. You don't perform it well so how can you explain the mechanic ? -

A) I didn't put it in fanworks, and it's obviously eventually going to be a guide considering it has tutorial in the name herpaderp.
Can you prove that 70% statistic? No? Then you have no right to say anything. I specifically remember you camping A ramp every time except 1 or 2 that you killed me, but that doesn't really matter. Point is I was running around with the slowest and possibly worse melee weapon in the game the entire time, and when on GR the weapon you're using doesn't make much of a difference, therefore voiding every single argument you've put forward.
Dodge my 1v1 offer more though. -
It doesn't have the same physics engine, for three reasons:Does this flash game thing have the same physics as CF?
As in the air acceleration and such?
1) It would be incredibly hard to code!
I know only a tip of the iceberg when it comes to full-featured game development, so this would be waaaaay out of my ability to do.
2) Copyright issues. The crossfire game engine is the property of smile gate and therefore, would not appreciate me directly copying one of their products.
3) No-one knows the algorithms they use. To create a physics engine, you will always need to assume certain values in its creation. Values such as the acceleration due to gravity. I know it to be 9.81 N/Kg, where crossfire could be using 10 or another figure altogether. It would all depend on what "scale factor" the game uses relative to the real world.
However, we have the next best thing...
This program simulates the game. It uses timings from it, which makes it probably the closest simulation we can make (depending on the accuracy of the timings).;)TheRealCoon wrote: »

Nice score mate.
However I fail to see the meaning of this post, especially as the game isn't even over halfway. Surly if you are good at GM, you would be able to provide constructive criticism on the program when it is released? Also, you could +1 it in saying how accurate it is, which would disprove your post.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but if the purpose was to brag about how you are are gm, this is the wrong thread and you have no place here. On the flip side, you could contribute and actually be helpful...TheRealCoon wrote: »Z8Games > Cross Fire > Cross Fire Barracks > Fan Works

The thread got moved 2 days ago. It was originally posted in the barracks main section as a discussion.TheRealCoon wrote: »Skills is when you can understand a mechanic to perform it well. You don't perform it well so how can you explain the mechanic ?
Chill dude! We are just two guys who casually play the game, and wanted to try and make something for the community. Gods came up with an idea that might benefit some people, and spent time recording the correct timings that would give us a result. I spent 33 hours over 4 days making it. ^^
You're more than welcome to publish your timings so that I can implement them if you wanted to help.

GM 1v1s barely prove anything.
A 1v1 in GM is so much more different than a 3v3+ game in gm. I don't know why you still think it does. -

He believe he is the god of the ghostmode... also I just wonder why would you train bunny hop in a maybe not so accurate software when you can do it in a closed room with your mate. It's way more accurate and your buddy can let you know at which point you been visible. It would also let you know that you can front/side/climb bhup and not only the regular back-bhup -
Update number 6:
Just passed 2000 lines of code...
On request of GodsGunman I have changed the 100 point point limit and progress bar to dynamically changing ranks.
There are 11 levels to obtain, from 0 points to 600. starting at "Beginner Bunny", you work you way up to becoming a "Bunny Addict" (see Photo)
Text containing possible ranks:
The program now will store your score between sessions by writing it to a text file, and will read it again in the next session.
Instead of being a progress bar, it now graphically shows the remaining points until a level up, with the actual number to the left.
In-game screeny:

P.S:, The bunny hop timing need to be tweaked to a + or -5%, rather than the 10% of the previous updates. This will come in the next update, possibly with a rank-up animation.
