I just told you.. The bar may be full sized but it goes faster than a regular persons does. You're still defusing at the speed defuse pace it just doesn't show the bar as such. -

It doesn't take longer to defuse, Saidin has confirmed that the problem has been fixed and now it's completely visual. I would quote it to show you but I don't feel like finding the damned post. It's only visual, your speed defuse is still working just fine. -

it was started on red i think. but when i have the speed defuse i do get the defuse done on time. but when i 'have it' when its bugged i dont get it defused so its noting working.
i just played and i would really had it with speed defuse but i was bugged and it blow up. -

Because the game doesn't like you. As I said Saidin has confirmed that it is fixed, the only problem is visually it doesn't always work. If you don't believe me then to damn bad go find the thread where he posted it yourself. I'm done arguing with someone who clearly is unarmed in a battle of wits. -

Stop making him mad, it's only visual. I also have speed defuse(who doesn't?) and it's the full bar, but it goes slightly faster. -

The functionality of the Speed Diffuse Item works fine.
The bug is in the visual bar which may look like it's moving at a normal speed (or slower) but if you timed it, you would notice that you're using the speed diffuse item (assuming you have it active).
We've been tracking this bug which seemed to have come up since the last 2 patches. The problem with tracking the bug is that it seems random.
We've had instances where you activate the speed item, go in and diffuse a bomb and it works perfectly fine. Then we've had other instances where you turn off the item and then go into the map and it shows that you have it active. And other variations thereof.
The bug has been reported to the developers and they are working on it. We expect a fix in a future patch but have no immediate ETA for it. -

Told you so, took me repeating myself 5 times, and Saidin himself saying it. Maybe now he'll finally realize.. -

He's probably going to tell Saidin that he's wrong now.
Anyways, it's purely visual, and personally I don't see it being an issue. When you have it active, if you get the bug, the normal defuse icon will just move faster. -

Yup, I haven't put a stopwatch on it but seems to take longer - had one said it was finished and bomb blew anyway...Kaboom... pfft
Bar looks bigger, but the speed goes faster.
When the bomb blew up even when it said it was defused, that was your fault, not the speed defuse bug. -
I have the same problem.. sometimes it shows sometimes it doesn't. speed defuse doesn't unequip, when I go into inventory it still has a yellow box around it,, but I click it a few times anyway but still sometimes speed defuse works sometimes it doesn't. i dunno... when speed defuse isn't showing it doesn't seem like it goes as fast as speed defuse.

When the bomb blew up even when it said it was defused, that was your fault, not the speed defuse bug.
wots fault got to do with it - it said defused and it blew, end of story - if that is anyone's fault it would be a coding error, thus developer's fault - doh!!
