Wouldn't it be nice if there was some sort of contest wherein if you won, you could have 1 full day to play on the CF*Database account with ALL of the guns in CF?
I think that would be an amazing event to behold.

Sure why not let people play on a account that is used to show off weapons.....so let it be useful for forum event
Really I don't see a reason why not z8 can easily control that acc change pass/security etc everything so why not.
I would even make it every week a event the winner of that event can have the account for a week and play with it whatever he wants(Any account selling will result in a perm lose of acc and ip banned from all z8games etc accounts etc etc etc)
And the events can be about anything just to get a couple of top winners of that day and than a random shuffle the winner of that shuffle gets it for a week and do that every week or so
But this needs to be a forum event related only so people can only sign up if the are here on the forums so it needs to be discussed here and played ingame or on the forums so only actually forumers get a chance and not every nub that sees automatic message ingame. -

No, that just will not happen. It is a test account for only a few of us trusted members of the CrossFire community to collect statistics of the new weapons from the patches and record and publish videos of them for the community. I do not envision any event of this sort occurring in the future whatsoever.

It's just a account that was used to show off weapons.
So make it useful for a forum event now than some people can have fun with it.
Like you said you would "kill" to use rose axe so get your chance of winning that acc for a week than you can use that rose-axe for a week once that is done you will be happier no?
Or maybe just more sadder since you can't use that rose axe anymore but anyway it will make people happy and it will be a good thing for the forum players I guess since there will be a event every week so people can try to win that account for a week.
Really no need to be so selfish let people enjoy it if the really want it.(The need to win first ofc)

Didn't the quite that crossfire community stat info collecting stuff?
Anyway make a new account for it than I guess I thought the stopped doing that since it took to much time but ya a new acc like that cfdatabase acc for the forum event once a week.
Letting people experience for a week with all the guns the can use will be interesting to see haha already seeing people crying for it hahahaha -

No, this idea is downright stupid, and you're only doing it because you wanna test limited edition weapons that you don't have. Find someone with them, and break the T.O.S by playing on their account.

Z8Games/G4Box will not just create a new test account and place all of the rare weapons on it for a giveaway contest. It just seems unlogical, and will not be so successful in a business perspective. The company will especially be at a loss just handing out free weapons, even to some forumers that might not have spent money on the game and do not rightly deserve to use those weapons, even rare ones, if other layer, who have spent a large amount of money on the game, have not been able to use them. -

The can play on the account for a week if the win thats all than the give it back or z8 just changes the password etc to give it again to the next winner of the week event.. -

I know how to read, and do not argue with me about it, as I am not the authority on it. I just game some backup evidence to the most logical outcome of this suggestion. I personally would not really care, but think about all of the other people that have spent money on their accounts that have not won, then the forums would be filled with complaints about the unfairness of the event from the people that did not win. All I am honestly asking you do it to consider the negative fallout from an event of this sort, and see why it would not be justified to proceed with it. -

Depending on how negative the response is, the event might grow infamous with the community. Also, there is no business logic in still giving away weapons for free. Whoever would be announced as the winner would either be flamed or spammed asking for a 1v1 to show them the weapons and they would not get the peace that they wanted on the account. Just as well, there would be dozens of threads of forumers complaining how unfair it was that they were not chosen as the winner, as some would complain that they deserved it because they had spent a lot of money (in upwards of $1,000 on CrossFire). -

Sigh, losing 10k ZP weekly from a person that maybe even wouldn't have spend zp at all in the first place is nothing.
Business do these kind of things always to attract more customers making a so called "lose" to make a profit.
This will be a double profit more players on the forums and ZP buyers(Since forumers mostly tend more to spend money on a game since the feel the are a part of the community) that will actually buy zp once in a while instead of nothing.

Complaining because not getting something for free ya z8 should so not ignore those people.....
Winner is a winner if people complain let thjem complain.
And the winner can do anything he wants with that acc for a week so his choice of how he should handle the situation with that account(Expect sell it ofc)
Also there is no earning something because you spend allot of money on crossfire you get lucky or not in the BM and people should get used to it that is how it has been since like ever in this game and people always complain about that xD
Anyway still more than interested to see how this will work out.
For my part the should do a test run for a month I just wanna see how it effects the community. -

Now this sounds like a much better suggestion and if there was room to make a small amount of profit from it, that would be a much better business-oriented event. We technically are having those events currently with the AM-A Christmas crates being given out, so if you put a small price tag to participate, and make the reward a temporary rare weapon, it might be pretty popular among many players of the game, including those newer players that were not here when the original weapons were offered for a limited time and then disappeared. -
