I played a match.
24 kills, 6 deaths. Not great, but not bad either.
I was awarded some exp, and 151 gp.
It cost 121 to repair my gun after that one game - 8 for my deagle.
That left me with 22 gp made for the match total.
So I got to thinking... I wanna buy an awm, because the m700 is terrible.
How long would it take? At the rate set by that game..
x = 151-121 + (-8)
x=22
56,000 / x = t where t equals number of games to have enough gp.
56,000 / 22 = 2545.45 games
2,545 games. 2545. Two thousand five hundred forty five games.
Crazy. If I play about 150 games per week, 0.90 games per hour, including time spent working and sleeping, I would see my AWM in 4 1/4 months.
Outstanding. Get your grind on. Alternatively however...
Go online, blow 30 bucks on some zp, and buy a money boosting item.
I'll see my AWM in 30 seconds. That's OP if I ever saw it.
EDIT: There's also the free zp option, if you want email boxes chock full of spam messages. Downloads full of viruses (I've actually got a running total of 22 viruses in my quarantine from free zp offers!) and hours wasted on offers that never.... offer any zp. Where you do what the offer says to do, and never get your zp, because they don't care at all. Lol @ this joke.

Yeah I Know. For GP I usually get 350 GP. -
You forgot that there are missions to do and that you aren't going to be starting at 0 GP.
500 Missions reward x 7 = 3500
56000/3500=16
So 4 months. And that's not counting the GP you would receive from your normal games.
Counting the games you're likely to receive GP in:
So lets say you play 150 games like you stated.
150*22= 3300
3300+3500= 6800 after a week.
56000/6800= 8.2
2 months if you had 0 GP and you could get an AWM. I'm also not factoring in MM/HM/HMX, EM, and melee matches where you don't have to repair, as well as the GP you receive by breaking your temporary dog tag M4Bronze.
Basically, it's not that hard to save up on GP when you consider all the easy things you can do to get GP. -
There are actually a lot of ways to get gp. For 800 zp you can get 5000 gp in about 10 minutes I believe. You can get 500 gp everyday for missions, on top of the gp from matches. You can get a lot of gp if you don't repair guns you don't need. Just find things to do that get you gp, there's plenty of options.

Its easy. I got the XM8, AWM and M4 along with 2 deagles by Staff Sgt 5 without zp.
Just do the following.
1. Daily mission
2. Get 10 ribbons (5K GP)
3. Do all the badges
All C1 badges give 2K GP for a total of 10K
All C2 badges give 5K GP for 25K GP
Elite C3 gives you 30K GP and Elite B3 gives 50K GP.
4. Break your M16 and M700 for 20K GP

Break your m700, that's 10k GP right there. If you do it the proper way, you'll not only get the GP but you'll also be a much better sniper when you get the AWM. Also, there's more than one game mode. I have several screenshots of HM games that gave me 700+ GP with no repair cost. Not to mention the daily missions also add 500 GP for a few games a day.

One starts with 40K GP, gets another 60k GP from leveling, 35K from getting all badges to C2, and another 30K for all badges to C3.
165K GP gotten very easily, this is enough for a GP sniper of their choice (60k or less), a Rifle of their choice (50K or less), and a pistol of their choice (45K or less). One gets a second pistol for free from linking their account to facebook. With 10K left over they can buy 2 flash and 2 smoke grenades as well.
So a player has the ability to get a full 2 bag load out for free if they spend the GP wisely. -
Here is a tip if you are a zp user!
get 50 exp + then Gp then buy until u have another 50 exp with little items such as hats etc etc. there for you will have 100 exp+ maybe a little even more!
then go play 12 min Egypt game! there for you can get at least get 100 kills!
and you will get 100 percent more! simple easy! lol
but if you are not a zp buyer 12 min Egypt game can get you around 400-600 exp
took me a week to get my awm.. -

500 GP per HM game for 13 rounds with 50+ kills.
8 games per day. 500 GP x 8 = 4000 GP per day.
4000 x 7 = 28,000 GP per week
28,000 x 4 = 112,000 GP per month. -
Assuming you complete them, 50/0 is a rack score jajaja
That's why you play smart and get mutated first. So it's more like 50/20 or something more "realistic" to the poo-brain minds of BR's.
The worst thing you can do is survive a round and/or get 4 kills as a hero.
HM gamers seem to be more relaxed than the try-hard BR's that ruin this game so it's not impossible to play HM and not get kicked. :P -

Break all the guns, then only repair ONE that you use.
And to PGLAxiom, obviously you don't do daily missions or play Hero Mode?
EDIT: One of them most important rules of grinding is to not waste your money on GP crates. I can make 16000 in 5 days, but I always blow them on 10 GP crates, that's why I don't have many permanent guns. If I had not bought any GP crates, I would of had 20 more permanent guns and one less AK47 Camo. -
The overall point in the thread is that it STILL too much time consumed getting GP in the game compared to people who pony up and stuff Z8's coffers...remember how it used to be BEFORE the badge and mission system? You got 2 weapon and that was IT unless you played the game for 8+ months and didn't spend a dime...that's utter BS.
And it's STILL pretty much that way...it may take a little bit less work, but with not even being able to complete missions because of bugs (not counting missions...) and south american players constantly kicking you because they have a ping disadvantage you may as well have the old system back again...
They should at least permanently boost the GP rate by 10%...either that or leave it alone and downgrade the repair rate so that we don't have to give up 90% of our earnings every match to repairs... -

And it's STILL pretty much that way...it may take a little bit less work, but with not even being able to complete missions because of bugs (not counting missions...) and south american players constantly kicking you because they have a ping disadvantage you may as well have the old system back again...
They should at least permanently boost the GP rate by 10%...either that or leave it alone and downgrade the repair rate so that we don't have to give up 90% of our earnings every match to repairs...
Before the badge system, daily missions and ribbons, granted it was much harder to obtain GP for non-paying players. But you could still break temporary weapons for GP and the M16 and M700 give 10,000 GP each if I'm not mistaken. Nowadays, it's much easier to get GP. I mean daily missions don't take too long and that's 500GP a day. Badges can be done fairly easily too in the early stages.
New players starting now have a much better playing field compared to their counterparts a couple of years ago. -

1- One of the main reasons why I play this game is to earn GP and EXP and ratios to better my profile. If GP comes and goes like kills on prison when a Kris noob knifes everybody, then the game is not going to be fun. There's no sense of achievement. They also give you free GP for levelling up, but once you're past the boundary, then you should have guns you want (eg-don't spend it all on GP crates ya noobs).
2-It's really not the same way. I played before the GP love scheme, and it was HARD. Now, I went from 10K GP to 30K GP in like...half a month? And that's just missions and summer holiday play time. Bugs are not that common, and most of the time, the matches you play ARE NOT meeting the required statistics. Usually it is;
-6 people in game (as in spawned)
-at least one on each side (this varies)
-min room requirement met (such as 100 kills, 5 rounds, etc)
All other games DO NOT COUNT.
3-Although the GP is very low, I don't mind it. However, 10% is okay.
By the by, this game does NOT have in game money issues. Seriously. I've seen games when you have to earn MAX money in the storyline AND possible quests in order to afford extra stuff.
