It's weekend, which means the staff have their days off. So you'll have to wait until monday

There are two events labeled as friday the 13th.

On friday make 50 melee kills or more and then check with the events page to immediately receive the 7 days footsteps noise down item.

Then there is the friday the 13th weekend event, where all weekend playing on sewers, arena, and arena2 will net you 20% more exp and gp per match.

Im assumin it was the melee kills one right?
