Having issues with ingame font.

ok, so i don't like the new font after the update a while back, so i changed it back to what it was before.. and then yesterday i accidently uninstalled cf uk instead of eu... -.- so i reinstalled it and the font was back to the one i hate. and everytime i change the font back to Gulim it always come out looking different everytime or you just cant see the font at all.

someone help please...

ps. that topic telling you how to change the font back isnt useful, the download file has changed and its a different font when downloaded.

Maybe you changed some rez files.
Delete everything you have about Cf and reinstall it.

I didn't delete anything, just downloaded the whole thing again this morning...

Make sure your new font is truetype font.

First off go to C:/Program Files or Program Files (x86)/z8games/crossfire/Rez/Fonts and delete all of the files/file in there. Once you have done that place the font you wish to use in that folder.

Secondly, You will need to rename the file "default" all lowercased letters in order for the game to recognize it.

Next job is to load up crossfire and it should hopefully be fixed.
