crossfire.exe

Been about a month since crossfire last worked for me. Been trying to narrow down the problem but have had no luck. Did the whole un-install/re-install, disable firewall, anti-virus, all those supposed fixes and nothing works. I found today the for some reason the crossfire.exe file located in the z8 games folder will not even run. Tried as admin and in compat. mode and no luck with either. Anyone have an idea on what to try next other than throwing my computer out the window.
