anyone have any idea why my sound mods/kill marks arent taking effect

Re-login? They're corrupted? What does it show instead? The default?

yes default, i had cf open when i installed them but obviously i did restart, idk i was about to try relogging again but the maintenance started

Is the files of the moded files are in the kill marks folder? Make sure it is the right ones, I suggest copying the original into a different folder, then paste all the moded ones into the folder, overwrite the ones. Should work, fine for me.

they finaly started working except they arent the kill marks i downloaded... lets try this again

Make sure not to have Cross Fire running while you replace your current kill marks. They most likely didn't change because the files were in use at the time by the client.

Sound mods , and any other raz file mods are considered a offense worthy of banning. So good luck with that.

Crossfire sounds are saved as .wav files, and afaik is there a mod on modhub disabling the radio messages, and another disabling nade messages.

i believe i said thanks i got it fixed but go ahead get a couple more posts in, and idk if its banable but i had no idea what mods were until i saw someone mention it here so it was promoted here which means it most likely isnt bannable

your saying you get banned for changing the sound and kill mark looks?

i dont think so.
1.z8 cant see it so they cant know
2.most people have the kill mark,login screen,sound,.. changed so that means they would have to ban most people and they wont ban you for it.
its not a rule that you cant change your look or sound of CF.

also albopr1de what did you do?
but there are youtbue videos about it that shows you if you follow it then you get the sound/looks.

My mod, reduces fire in the hole volume.

and to fix my problem i just restarted cf one more time
