Quick Defuse.

Hey guys,

I am wondering why my quick defuse kit is not working. I have it for 156 days but when I am in game, it doesn't work.

How do I activate it?

It is working... As many people have pointed out earlier, it's just a display bug. The time it takes for you to defuse/setup C4 is still shortened by the item.

Hmm... Try:

Storage > Item > Click on it

You probably haven't activated yet.

Either you've clicked it by mistake and turned it off, or you have the display bug.

Not every item does. But checking wouldn't hurt, now would it?

Like aRusher said, it's only a display bug. Will get fixed in the next patch update.

I was talking about the next patch. Not yesterday's patch.

Plus, I reported it and that they said it be most likely be fixed in the next patch or so.

It should be working just fine, but as noted in this thread it just looks like it's longer.

This has been reported and we expect it to be fixed in the next update! (edit, yesterday wasn't so much of a patch as "turning things on"). We expect the next actual game update to contain many bug fixes, though this isn't an exact science.

I'm betting $10 that it will be fixed in the next patch, most likely the July Update.

Plus, can you tell me a time when they said that the bug will be expected to be fixed but they didn't?

You could both just keep going on forever about this. Who cares? It's not that important of a bug anyway.

It is still there. its a display bug. it will still go as fast as a normal speed defuse.. Im sure they are working on this.
