Hai.

Does anyone know if the Winchester is as good as the thompson for HM games? Or isn't it a gun at all to use for mutant games?

No. My opinion is that winchester is not good for mutation mode , not at all .

In my opinion, the winchester is only for having fun in TDM, or at least you need to have good aim.

Lol, then i'm lucky my luck felt on this Thompson thing. I tought Winchester would do the same since they're in the same crate you see. My toughts were fast shots, with fast reloads. Too bad.

I do not advise you to use it, slow firing rate and not even that accurate. It's fun when you're playing with friends though.

Yea, it's the same just with the hero. The Winchester is more a "shotgun" and not a rifle or SMG..

The Winchester is definitely more of a rifle, especially since it actually is one.

For most people it would be only for TDM, but if you really know how to use it you can use it in SnD and GM too.

Someone don't know their guns.

Winchester is an old-timey western rifle (although the range they gave it on this game is rather inaccurate IMO) and it's fun to use in GM, FFA or TDM. It's harder to use in other modes but it's not a good idea to use it for HM/MM/HMX/ZM.

Winchester in mutation mode? Ideally you want a gun with a load of ammo, good firing rate and good damage at range. The Winchester possesses none of these things.

Use the thompson.

Do not attemp to use the Winchester for HM unless you wish to be dissapointed greatly.

Winchester isnt good for any mode. It is a collectors item that is meant for fun. You can use it for mutation mode if you like to fool around

The reload on the regular winchester is too slow for it to be a good weapon in HM. The ammo might lack on the scoped one though. I gotta try this out.

Winchester is fun to screw with people in gm. I like it when they stay still and they think they dont see you. I walk past them, then at the last second knife them. xD

lol ya even though i don't use them at all, but i have both Winnys and i always use it on XHM, ( with galtin gun, RPK, M16 Colt on other bags OC )

it does quite high damage close up to the head, gives decent knockback, so if you can aim and jump around, it might be good as a troll weapon

Winni is good for close combat in snd but you need a good aim..
Its also funny for gm and tdm but i have never tried it in hm/mm
