Worth it? Let's say I play a lot of G.M, I really wanted my permanent axe, but I think I'll have to settle for this now... 
The BC axe would only be cost effective compared to the regular one if I bought it 3 times... Then it would be cheaper... Although surely I'd play this game for more than 3 months...

if you play alot of GM as ghost and you gonna play for 3 months then way not?

its not like they gonna change it back because some people want it back.
now you need to buy the axe all the time. more zp for them if you could get it for perm they got it and dont spent zp on it anymore so it wouldnt happen. -

Yeah except I'm not buying zp anymore. It isn't worth it with that updates. Here's how I determine buying zp...
1/2 is coupons
1/4 is the chance to get the permanent gun
1/4 is temps
With coupons being practically worthless, and since I can pretty much only find UGC cards that come in $20's, so I'm paying about 10 dollars for maybe an axe that lasts 30 days, some armor or a gun for 7 days.
That chance is pretty low, not a major factor.
The temps are nice.. but temporary, mostly lasting about 2 weeks.
The coupons were dependable and I could save up for nice things, on average every 20 crates I'd get about 12 coupons per $20/crates so that's 10 dollars per 12 coupons, the first permanent weapons are in the 80 coupons slot that's about 7 packs of 20 crates... so 70 dollars. Is 70 dollars really worth a Deagle gold or SL8 that I don't even really want..?
I'm sure tons of people would say yes. But I'm fine with my AWM and deagle camo, heck even my regular deagle would do.
Personally I wanted an axe more because my current setup is good enough for TD or MM or whatever. One thing I needed to improve in was GM which I play all the time, and a better melee weapon helped alot when I would get it as a temp. 70 dollars for stuff I don't want terribly or 50 dollars for something I actually cared for?

I'd really like to know the reasoning behind devaluing them sooo much... Apparently it makes them more money, but it looks more like they're just giving you less for your money, which since these guns cannot take up anymore memory than the other variant, it sounds like... they'd just be losing money. Who'd want less for the same price...? Yet this makes them money. -
try to understand that axe was over 3 years on coupons and many people had exchange it.you had your time before to get the axe but you missed it.Worth it? we cannot change it.Even if you start making petition for getting it back it will fail because mods will close it.Try to understand that new weapons will come soon or later(and yes i'm talking about meeles) we had 2-3 patches before kukri royal dragon so you had also chance to get it.
If you remember we had on halloween shovel.then on xmas kris and 2-3 patches ago kukri.We could get new meele on crates on next patch or maybe not.Who knows.Just try to get some zps and wait for the new meele.So i hope you are satisfied with my answers.
Also just to mention it.Axe will never come again as coupon exchange permanent,thats what i heard from saidin. -

OT: Don't think 30 day axe for 15 coupons is worth it since it used to be 90 days for 15 coupons. -
I'd wait it out to see if they add a new permanent melee in the future.
But seeing as you play a lot of GM and don't like using your knife, then it might be necessary for you to buy the BC axe for 90 days. Only if necessary and you buy it 3 times over to make it cheaper. -

maybe you didn't listen the Saidin AMA interview with nattnatt and others.but he said clearly that they will not return old weapons in the coupon exchange.You have to deal with it that we need allways something new.But you still have suffering about the axe.
Just let it go.you cannot change anything about the axe and neither could we.

It could very well be my fault, but they changed it right out of the blue, if they gave notice maybe I'd have an axe right now. The Coupons never *really* changed, so how was I supposed to know? I thought I had all of my life to get that axe if I wanted to. Also
lazy ≠ regular spender
Just because I didn't spend $4000 to get it immediately doesn't make me lazy.
I spun 30 crates for Halloween shovel. To no avail, I spun 20 for Kukri, no avail.
