No Patcher

When I click on Crossfire usually the patcher comes up, but the last couple of times I've tried opening it, it has failed. What happens is: I double-click the Crossfire icon on my desktop, then I click start when the application starts, then......nothing lol. No patcher shows up, no gamewatcher, just nothing and it doesn't start. What I have done so far is reboot the CPU, cleaned it, and uninstalled/reinstalled it. The same error occurs and I don't know what to do.
