1 weapon suggestion + How the black market SHOULD work
Hi,
I have 2 suggestions: 1 weapon suggestion and 1 'big idea'-suggestion. I'm probably not the first to come up with this idea, but please, read the whole text. If i put the energy and time to write this (being totally serious ) , then u should make the effort of reading it
BEFORE I BEGIN: I'm open to any comment as long as it relates to my suggestion, and is CONSTRUCTIVE. Please dont comment if u have nothing to add. I don't care that u find this text too long or that u feel the need to answer rhetoric questions written in my suggestion.
( And for the younger ones: a rhetoric question is a question that doesn't need an answer )
FIRST SUGGESTION:
the weapon suggestion is: P-90 Advance, with silencer. also, why does the p-90 not have a scope?
it is build in in the basic design of the gun, much like the G36-K. I find this gun also seriously underpowered ( compared to m12 ), but i can live with that.
But a P-90 with silencer and 'scope vision' would be cool.
I would suggest not adding a visual scope on the gun, but like g36-k switch to the build-in scope.
THE SECOND SUGGESTION:
I think there are a lot of people who feel ripped off by the black market.
I wont cry about how i bought hundreds of crates... that's OK. I understand that the chance of winning is very low.
That is why CF introduced coupons. But here's the problem. The coupon rewards are not worth it.
(i realy dont care for golden stuf. It doesnt look real ergo i dont like it).
What i want, nay, what i suggest, is that ANY ZP CRATE PERM GUN can be bought for 200 coupons!
(BEFORE U BEGIN TO TYPE FURIOUSLY, READ THE REST OF TEXT PLS!)
The first argument AGAINST this proposal is: Players will buy GP crates and get coupons that way, in stead of buying ZP, and thus reducing the profit.
TRUE. The solution is: introduce 2 kinds of coupons. GP coupons and ZP coupons.
The GP-coupons can be used to buy the item that are currently available ( like golden guns ).
The ZP coupons can be used for this too.
But with 200 ZP coupons, u should also be able to buy any ZP gun available in ZPcrates. ( As a safeguard, an insurance policy that u will get the gun one way or another ).
With the 2 types of coupons in place, this argument is thrown of the table
.
The first argument IN FAVOR of this proposal: Money (of course!!!!!)
Let's do the math for both systems.
CURRENT SYSTEM: Player is trying to get a permanent ZP gun. He goes to the site, and buys ZP by phone, ( i use BOKU prices in this example )
Take about 48,00 EURO , good for 43818 ZP . Lets make it 44 for easier demonstration.
Well , for this money, the player can buy Skyrim at the store.
But 44 zp crates do not give the player the gun he wanted. And neither the second time. But after the second time, the player feels ripped off, so he stops buying ZP.
And the coupons are worthless, for the player does NOT care about those knock-off golden guns.
SERIOUSLY, the only cool coupon gun is the remington ( IN MY OPINION !!! - pls dont comment on this opinion)
MY THEORETIC SYSTEM: Player is trying to get permanent ZP gun... etc... he gets 44K zp for 48,00 EURO.
He does not get the gun. However. Lets say that for every 3 zp crates, u get average of 2 coupons ( if u dissagree on the rates , u can recalculate using ur own rates ).
The player gets: 44 x 0.66 = 29 ZP coupons. He does it a second time, in the hopes of getting the gun from the crates themselves.
After second , he still does not have the gun. But he has 58 ZP coupons.
So the player decides to continue.
Because worst case scenario: he has to wait till he has 200 ZP coupons.If not, he gets it before that.
CRUNCHING THE NUMBERS: for the following numbers:
-rate of ZP coupons per ZP crate: R = 0.66
-rate of ZP per euro : Price = 912,875 ZP / EURO
equation is: ?? x R = 200 ZP COUPONS ----> ?? = 303 crates
303 crates = 303000 ZP ----> divide by 912,875 ZP/EURO ---> = 332 EURO.
332 EURO for a virtual gun.... and i feel that i'm being very reasonable when asking: IF I SPEND 332 EURO, CAN I PLEASE GET THAT GUN?
For that money, i can buy an IPhone( at least in my country ).
ASK urself: what can you buy for 332 euro or dollar ? (it's a RHETORICAL question!!!)
I can understand that the developpers of cross fire find this not all that much money.
But it doesnt have to be 200 coupons. I dont care for the amount.
I just propose a garantee that there is a limit to get any weapon for sure ( and not by "luck")
IN CONCLUSION: My suggestion is: separate coupons won by ZP and those by GP, and make a second exchange store for ZP coupons, offering any zp crate weapon for at least 200 ZP COUPONS. This stimulates the purchase of ZP, since players no longer have the impression that they'll never get the gun. The amount ( being 200 ) is just an example. 300 ZP COUPONS is the equivalent of an IPAD2 WIFI with 16GB memory. What would you rather have? the IPAD or the virtual gun on crossfire? That's right! THE GUN!!!!

I didn't read all of it, but I'm pretty certain that they won't implement this into the game. Nothing personal, but a lot of good ideas have gone without being implemented and this might be one as well.
*EDIT* Why use Boku? It's a very inefficient way to get ZP

P90 advanced just sounds dumb to be honest.
As for the 44 crates. You can buy 52 crates if you buy the crates in bundles of 10. Having a ZP crate weapon for coupons ruins the idea of luck, and black market.
ZP is much cheaper than that if you're using anything but the phone.

So now I haven't bought ZP because there's not really a point. You spin for the Permanent gun, ok. But the odds of that are really low. So I want my money's worth even if I don't win, this isn't supposed to be an all-out casino. That's where coupons came in, they're your fall-back plan. You're "Hey, sorry you didn't win, but since you payed, here's something for your time anyways!" and you could get some really nice stuff.
Now it's seriously just gambling. Unless you want to be stupid and buy just temp guns or GP...
OT: I like the suggestion on the P90. The P90's have always seemed a little lost, hopefully this would return some fame to them. The other one also isn't too bad, but it would almost devalue guns, since people (VATAV, atleast) has spent $900+ on one gun. -

Coupons aren't supposed to be chance. And they could've atleast given warning to these modifications. I really still can't believe they haven't changed them back yet. -
1) +0. I love the P90, but I don't necessarily think that's it's good enough for another reskin.
2) No. It would mean you could 2 permanent guns for the price of 1. You win the gun after 300 crates or whatever, and then spend your coupons on another perm money, meaning Z8 loses a ton of money. Good for the players, awful at a business perspective. -1. -
