fix your game (ping issues)

I seem to sense some anger from you, my under 18 year old friend.

go to http://speedtest.net/ . Select a server from toronto and then make a new nice thread with less caps and swearing (as this one will be deleted) and report your findings.

This is normal, it happens some times and then gets fixed.
And leave your CAPSLOCK fir a while for god's sake !

Connection issues are rarely [I'll say it again, [B]rarely[/B]] the issue of the game servers, unless the whole gaming community is experiencing similar, if not identical, problems. Generally, connection issues happen on the user part [that's right, I'm blaming you or your internet service provider].

ISPs tend to cheap out on people, they'll not give you the connection you want, or they'll route your connection in the cheapest manner possible, giving you a very high latency.

Check out your ISP first, not all connections to Toronto Ontario from your ISP take the exact same route, and in the same time.

Before blaming the game, look into the problem on a personal front first.

why is it a lot of people's ping increases in this game but remains the same in many others?

Wow bro. Calm your nernies. Just make sure no one is using your internet for Youtube, Facebook, ect ect ect. If no one is, Restart your PC and just keep trying.

the problem is with your PC or internet, close all other apps while playing CF, and stop downloading alot stuff on ur PC, at least not while your playing cf.

One tip in life, if you want something fixed be more mature and calm about the situation, and people can help you easier when you are relaxed. Also ping can be caused from many things... One your internet plan, maybe get a hirer internet package ? Mines around 18Mbps and it's very good ( download 2200KBs/Second ) And i can play any game online easily. Also Close other programs that use internet connection, don't play when other people using your connection aren't downloading/ uploading massive ammounts of data or will cause lagg. Or Maybe restart modem/ router maybe there dew for a reset, just turn off put a pin into reset button on the device for 10 - 30 seconds, let go plug in turn on let it re boot up. you said your connectiong was 0.5ms that is to the closest server so whatever, if your using cable it means you share connection with near by people. There Is many factors. Just me trying to help.

I personally have gone up 1 - 2 ping after every patch i was 6 when game launched and i had 56 K Dial up. I know how 15 - 25 with 18Mbps Cable, and i soon plan to get 32Mbps DSL. But good Luck.
