SI - Strategic Insomniacs official revival + recruitment
Returning to the CF community straight from the old school, one of CrossFire's original 500 clans - SI is back! Originally hailing from the once-popular online strategy game Tactics Arena Online (TAO, www.tacticsarena.com), SI has decided to throw its hat in the proverbial CF ring and see if we can't have some fun 'round here!
Strategic Insomniacs (SI) are looking for new, active and loyal members in our gaming community. We are a bunch of people from all parts of the world that have come together to share one common interest. GAMING!
We play all type of games, our most active games include, obviously, Crossfire, League of Legends, and Tactics Arena Online. We enjoy a chill gaming experience and are willing to teach gamers about what we know. And are also willing to be taught by more experienced players out there.
You may have heard of us in game, as we represent our SI tag. We were once known for mainly playing GM, but are looking to expand as a well-rounded, multi-gametype clan. We are looking for active members to help us gain the knowledge to put a well balance team together, and play with the big boys.

Here are our requirements to join as well as our clan rules:
1. Must have a KDR of at least 1.0. Only exceptions via tryouts.
2. A minimum of 10 CP a week.
3. Vent is a MUST. Ventrillo is imperative to our cooperation and team building process.
4. No Farmers/Hackers/Glitchers
5. Must be active players. If found inactive for more than 10 days, you will be kicked.
6. Respect all members or you will be kicked.

so that's what si stands for, pretty cool. i used to play tactics arena a couple years ago and did recognize strategic insomniacs as the top (or close to the top) clans in the game. i stopped playing because pretty much every one turtles (or as i like to call it - corner coward) so i got tired of playing 60 minute games.
i now recommend Elementsthegame.com for a quick fix for a brain game. a combination of luck and stratagy much like TAO.
anyway, always nice to see an old clan come back. and i do believe si-death. got perm banned for using hacks last year. might want to remove him since he won't be coming back. -

Thanks for the heads up, I"ll go ahead and give Death the boot now...I'll give the game a look too, always up for something similar to TAO, though I don't really play these days. -

Gotta say this post is an awesome memory refresher. I was really into TAO until my home server got shutdown and that reason in particular is why SI expanded into crossfire. In my free time I'll look forward to looking into that game although I haven't found a good supplement other than CF so far and the game style isn't comparable.
I'll look forward to playing ya in game now for sure though!
