if you have ultra-high fps
but an ultra-low hz(hertz) monitor (which is like 95% of computer users) you have pretty much wasted your money. it's almost like owning a ferrari, but having it limited to 50mph.
I always laugh when I see people building $2000 computers and using them on standard monitors. who gives a **** if you get 200 fps on crossfire when your monitor can only output 60. are you mad that I can find a computer in the junk yard, hook it up to my ultra-high hz monitor and get to actually visually experience more framerates than you? yea, you mad.

I use my high end computer for rendering art O_o. And programs and also algorithms. Gaming computers are just really fast computers. O_o. -

You can't look at +6-FPS physically, we're humans, not flies.
Maybe they want high frame rates for more demanding games that only give them 60?
PLUS- When you're in the city, you just need to show you can go over 200mph. Who gives a damn if you're only going 30 mph tops? -
Boast yourself with whatever makes you feel better. Just another kid on the net.tastylime_2g wrote: »You care because I bet a wave of panic, frustration and jealousy washed over you after realizing that a computer from a junk yard brings the end user more experience and performance than your computer.

lol dude you troll, now one here playing CrossFire will care since you know it's Crossfire not the most graphical game. -
I can see the difference between 200 and 60 fps on a 60hz monitor.
When a game is dropping frames, let's say, 140 to 70 (always above 60), it's very noticeable.
The whole human eye... argument* is getting old.
You can't say you get over 60 fps in a game because some idiot/s will start repeating like a parrot: but you don't need that frame rate!
Regardless of the *proposition's pseudo-truth value (determined by each player), having a huge frame rate amount is always nice. -
tastylime_2g wrote: »Yes you can see much more than 60 fps. You have clearly never used a 120hz monitor.
Maybe they don't understand that they aren't actually getting to see that 200fps that they ever so blew their money on to get.
But when you're on the highway or the track, you sure as hell want to max it out.
K lemme get a pc to run cf at EXACTLY 60 fps so my 60hz monitor can show that exact 60 which it shows anyway at 200 fps.
Does it occur to you that people have good pc's for high end games to run and having games with fps above their refresh rate is just coincidence? -
tastylime_2g wrote: »There are only a select few games that will put you under 60 frames a second with a $2000 computer, so no. The general majority of people have crap 60hz monitors like yourself, but are getting double that in frames in the games that they play 90% of the time and that is why they are putting their money to waste.
If you have a computer over $1000 for gaming and don't have a 120hz monitor, you are a dumbass.
In your opinion...
What exactly makes it stupid when 60fps is way more than enough to sufficiently play a game?
Im sure 120hz is nice... but only you seem to give a sh.it -

I've used a 2.4K Hz experimental monitor, since we need to display some weird figures. No difference. -

2.4K Hz monitor? I highly doubt such a thing even exists.CookieMunzta wrote: »People care about performance, in this small-time game?
But then again, I suppose they must do if they're on a TastyLimes-esque budget.
Yes.
TastyLimes-esque budget? I just had a workstation built for myself based around a setup of four Nvidia Tesla C2075 graphic cards. Now, I don't want to come off as snobby or arrogant but I am fairly certain this entire workstation probably exceeded the down payment your parents put toward your house. -

i want a picture, with a sign saying "NattNatt es da smex." and timestamped.
