Odd errors after new patch

Hi, I need help... every time I try to start crossfire at first nothing happens and then I get error "Hacking GateWay Client" wtf?
Before this I had problem with version.ini...

Any solutions? I'm running on win xp

Hacking GateWay Client means HGW.EXE

HGWC is, like the name "hacking gateway client" already implies, a gateway between xTrap and the game servers. Deleting it will make you unable to start the game and even if one would get the game running, you were kicked after a short time period due to the lack of HGWC sending heartbeat packets to the server

Delete hgwc folder, and also detele report and log folder

lol, I don't want to delete anything, I just wanna play crossfire... HEEEEEEELP

What does the HGWC error say exactly? Or is that just the loading box you're talking about...

The version.ini fix is quite easy, you just have to fix a number value. Go to your Crossfire folder, and open the "version" file. Change the value 1094 to 1095 and save the file. This will allow you to download the latest patch when you reboot Crossfire.

It says "Hacking GateWay Client"... send error report...
I have fixed version.ini, but I cant do anything with this HGWC
