my patching is not starting

when i start the game cf dont download that patch.that straightly go to hgwc 7 and then stop and showed a message that file is changed w[2007] L0 crossfire .exe.i hope somebody help me or send me that new crossfire .exe file

    Now try it you guys try the cf now run it it should patch already this is my problem every patch when the patch is finished it doesnt patch automatically it gives me file is changed: W[2007] L[0] so every patch is going on and it's finished i just wait for 1 day and run it then it automatically patch i know it sounds stupid but it works for me everytime.Hope i helped you guys. ign- DEM0N666

    Alright, the crossfire.exe changed files error is pretty common, so it has an easy solution. Follow my steps below.

    1. Go to: C:/Program Files x86/Z8Games/Crossfire
    2. Open the file called "version" (may have to go into it's properties and untick read only)
    3. Change the number value from 1904 to 1905.
    4. Save the file in the same location it was before, and retick read only if you unticked it earlier.
    5. Reboot Crossfire, and the latest patch should begin downloading.

    You told me to do that, and I did, but it is not working... I have changed files and folders inside CF folder, then after failure I reinstalled game, and still nothing... Now I get x-trap error some odd number, CF is dead for me... :(

    Hmmm lets see uninstall crossfire, delete z8games folder download again crossfire but turn off you anti-virus then when you install crossfire and its finished try opening it see if it worls if not if it gives you this>>>> file is changed: W[2007] L[0] just wait for few hours dont open crossfire until the few hours finished i think that must work hole i helped you just reply if ever i helped you.
