What keyboard do you use for CF?

I'm looking to buy a new keyboard. If you could list what keyboard you have and a short review and price of the keyboard that would be great. I'm not picky, it can be wired or wireless, with a num pad or without - it really doesn't matter! Thanks

you dont need any gaming keyboards for cf. i just use a normal logitech keyboard

it's Cross Fire...you don't need a fancy keyboard to play Cross Fire..unless you're super competitive.

I've been using the Microsoft Sidewinder for about a year now. You don't really need a high end gaming keyboard since they have very few benefits. The only reason I bought one was because it was half price at the time and had back lit keys!

Yeah, I know I don't need a high end one. I was hoping for more feedback like yours from the posts above with stuff like back lighting and wireless/wired capabilities. Are keyboards like mice, is it more preferable to have a wired one for more accurate data transfer, or does it not really matter?

Using this combo at the moment, I want to change them though.

They're really durable, but text comes off the keybaord's keys and the Logitech logo gets scrubbed off the mouse.

Had them for like 2-3 years.

Lol I am using my 10$ Mouse got no "Idea" whats it called and a normal Keyboard also have no idea what make it is lol, doesn't really matter what keyboard and mouse you use to play Games

I don't think it really matters on what keyboard you use for Crossfire. Any keyboard which is made in 2003 or onwards will do.

Cooler master has the Quickfire.

It's mechanical blue switch, clicky but good quality.

There are also backlit keyboards, rubber domes(cheap) or mechanical(expensive).

If you want someone cheap and quiet, get the sidwinder x4.

Or get a mechanical keyboard that makes the clicky sound when you type.

Thermaltek makes good keyboards too.

So I recommend:

CoolerMaster or Thermaltek.

I wouldn't say ThermalTake is good for keyboards, they're okay for actual computer parts/cases. They make sexy mouse pads too, but I'm not fond of their gaming products.

Use stiff keys, so that you don't accidentally mispress any keys that would be annoying. I'm talking about the ones that have 2mm of key height, and are "pressed" when you even breath on them.

I have a basic logitech keyboard, works fine for me. I'd obviously prefer some fancy quiet keyboard though, who couldn't resist one of em'.

I feel that the laptop key boards are better than the expensive desktop ones. They are quieter, easy to press, but not too easy that you mispress. If you can I suggest any brand laptop-like keyboard, wired.

It rlly doesn't matter, WHAT keyboard u use, it's only CrossFire !
but, i'll prefer a keyboard what's comfortable to ur hands, also it's small enough, weight almost nothing, etc.

i got a 20€ "hama Keyboard" ( orange / black ) some Slim Edition, or so.
and i like it.
and i've a other "Qwerty" one Keyboard from Logitech, but never used..
( Original packed, maybe my Hama goes break, sometime.. )
