Game freezes for short time every 2 seconds on Win 7...

My CrossFire freezes like every two seconds for a half second and the runs some two, three seconds normally... then freezes again for like a half second or second. In these FPS games second is very long time, ya know... =/

I just recently bought a new PC with Win 7 and downloaded CF and then when I log in game I have this problem. My old PC was able to run CF normally and it had Win XP and way worse specs than this PC...

When I first logged in and lunched CF a message popped up saying something lieke "program is not compatible with this theme, the theme has been changed to Win 7 basic" then when I close the game theme automatically changed back... I'm not sure about what program was that message tho, about CF or Game Guard (or whatever anti cheat program CF is using). But since I changed theme to Win 7 basic permanently it does not shows anymore...

Things I have tried to do:
Change theme to Win 7 basic permanently.
Try other themes.
Reinstall the game.
Disable my firewall.
Disable my antivirus (I'm using Avast).
Restart computer
Run in Win XP compatibility mode (made it even worse)

Help? =/

    i have windows 7, and it freezes only 1 from 7 games, in Eagle Eyes 13 rounds.

    Not freezes for me only in one game, sadly. It freezes like constantly all the time. And not only in games but also in lobby or shop... I can feel it when I move my mouse around and click on things...

    Since you got it not long ago, how about doing a system restore? That can solve all your problems.

    I downloaded CF like two moths ago, just did not searched for help right away. I had a lot of things to do and did not had time to play so it just hanged there at my PC for like two moths. By those two moths I have downloaded a lot of programs and stuff on my computer what I would not want to loose... and I assume that is exactly what system restore will do. =/

    And by the way, I'm not quite sure how system restore would help. Cos when I downloaded CF my PC was completely clean and pretty much only thing on HDD was my Win 7... =/

    So I guess I might exclude it as a symptom for my freezing problem cos apparently it has nothing to do with it....

    So... anybody have any more suggestions how I could fix that problem? =/
