What's the minimum rounds the match need to be to count towards the two HMX ribbons?

    You need to win the majority of the rounds. So if you are trying to get the Mutant HMX ribbon. In a 9 round game, mutants must win 5/9 times.
    So its basically over 50% of the rounds.

    9 Rounds - 5 Mutant Round wins
    11 Rounds - 6 Mutant Round wins
    13 Rounds - 7 Mutant Round wins
    17 Rounds - 8 Mutant Round wins

    You must finish the match and stay till the score screen for it too count.

    If you are going to for Mutant HMX ribbon, if you play in public games, you should be fine because the mutants pretty much win every round.

    No problem :)

    Another piece of advice is to knife mutant with low health (they flash red) and they won't be able to respawn. You get more kills and the rounds finish much faster.

    Only pros can do that. Every time I even get near a mutant I get mutated. IDK why because I do a lot of fancy maneuvers and such.

    It's not that hard. Using the knife is harder though. Weapons with more range is much easier to kill with (like an Axe/Shovel/Kris/etc). It also help if you have a height advantage and you jump down. Element of surprise helps a lot :3

    It's the lag, HMX is pretty laggy so you can't get as close to the mutants as you could in MM or HM.

    A pretty easy way to do it is draw them toward you then walk backward in a half circle and right as they start to follow you in the circle, close straight in on them with a double-click knife. It's much easier with the other melee weapons like shovel.
