After pressing start nothing happens

l have the same problem! windows xp 64 and ie6.... Can anyone give us an answer?

l can provide and other pics if it is helpfull! l have a clan to run please help!!!!!!!

indeed...since the thrusday's patch l cannot run the game and l loose all the temporary items l have like exp up!they costed me money....and nobody cares to fix it...

Symptoms :
1) DURING download and installation l had temporaly disable avg antivirus. the setup was fine but at first launch it failed 2 TIMES TO DOWNLOAD PATCH DURING 1092 AND 1093. IT CONTINUED WITH 1094.
2) during first launch it failed at loading screen with "mfc application error - it needs to be closed" and crushes.The error log message at the applicaton registry was that of the picture
3) At later launches it was happening 2-3 events.
4) either crushes at loading screen with 2 "send error" messages- see picture
5) or crushes when l try to log in to server again with 2 message errors
6)or crushes when l try to enter a channel again with 2 message errors
7)or it says when l try to connect with a server the "fail to connect to server" message or the message "mm delayed connection" - l am not excactly sure about the last proper spelling

FROM WHAT l understand, the recent patch has caused major conflict problems with windows xp (32x and 64x versions) regardless the installation of internet explorer 6.

ALSO, the same conflict happens in some windows 7 versions...

Still the majority of dissapointed users have windows xp.....

l know that is hard cause its 2 weeks now....the only solution l can provide you is this:

Due to several conflicts with internal applications of win xp 64x... you have to change you windows... lf you don't know how to do format on you pc call someone else to do it for you.

l have now changed to windows 7 32x professional and cf works just fine.

Also a friend of mine changed from win xp 64x to win xp 32x and cf works also..

l got in all this trouble NOT ONLY for cf...l Had my pc for 2 years unformated and l experienced some other problems that made me in the end to take as an excuse the cf failure and drove in that solution..

If your pc doesn't have any other problems and cf is just a minor occupation for you..dont do format, just stop cf..Or log in from a different pc and dont buy zp anymore.they don't deserve all this mess just for one application!

There are some problems with your Z8Games file folder.

Follow the following steps.

Uninstall Cross Fire

Re-download Cross Fire at
http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloads2.aspx
Cross Fire NA/UK

Install Cross Fire.

Problem solved.
