Need an Avatar or Clan Banner for the Forums?

***We are currently closed until further notice.***

The title says it all. Let's set some things straight first though.

There are other people doing this besides me. Scroll to the next post to see the others helping with this task.

1) I am not the best, and never will be.
2) I will be offering the Forum Community these services for this week only.
3) All blank applications will be discarded and disregarded. Fill it out.
4) All improper applications will be discarded and disregarded. (See an example below.)
5) I have things to do besides these sometimes, don't expect it done at light speed.
6) Banners are for Clans, as for Recruitment Threads, not signatures!
7) If you want things in a certain position in the picture, tell us! You cannot expect us to read your mind and know exactly what you want. We give you what you ask for, so ask for it correctly!
8) There is a difference between banners and avatars!

Also, for those who are curious: We will not put our own signatures in our artwork, if you wish to give us credit then for avatars you can credit us in your signature, or for clan banners you can do so on the recruitment thread. Keep in mind this is not required, I've just had some people ask me about credit, etc.

Application:
1) Banner or Avatar?
2) Colors?
3) Text? (As in what would you like it to say, if nothing, write N/A.)
4) Any characters?

For example:

Proper Application:
1) Banner or Avatar? Avatar
2) Colors? Red and blue
3) Text? (As in what would you like it to say, if nothing, write N/A.) Seashells
4) Any characters? Navy SEAL

Improper Applications:

1) I want an clan banner to be pink and green that says "Woohoo!" with a STAR character please and thanks.

Note that any application in one of those forms will not even be a concern to us, and tossed away. You can always reapply properly.

I've some more people helping me with this task, and I must say they can do fairly well, if not better than me, at Photoshop.

I've gotten requests of people wanting the work, including the people that are currently helping me. Due to this I am now allowing people to apply for this and help me manage with the avatars and clan banners. Note you will be notified if you are chosen with the correct image sizes, and other things that I find necessary. Also remember that you will not always get requests, for some reason they send them mainly to me. (I guess because I made the thread..? :L) One of my helpers has reported that he's received no requests, and I'll have to check up on my other helper.

So here it is, the application to work for this.

Work Application

Forum Name:
What program do you use?
Why do you want to do this?
How often are you on the Forums?
How experienced are you with your program?
Display at a minimum of one of your artwork(s) here: (Make sure they do not break the page!)
Will you commit to this?: (It can get very busy!)

Improper applications will be discarded. Note that you may only apply to me (currently) and not any other helpers.

When we open for our second round, all workers will have a 25 post count requisite. It's not much, but it tells me you are at least on the Forums. Also, before any acceptance of applications, I will look through your Forum History to check previous/current behavior on the Forums. In my eyes if you're not willing to cooperate and be friendly to the Community, you don't deserve a job that gives to the Community.

I've decided that we will be opening this once every other month, so if you want an avatar or a clan banner, make sure to check this thread. Again, I'll go over some key things.

If you want to apply, do so properly. If applications are improper then they will be discarded and disregarded.
I am not the only person doing this. Please look at my list of helpers and PM them sometimes, too! They need some work to do!
If you want to help me with this then please use the application. Again, improper applications will be discarded and disregarded.

I suggest not re-sizing that much, the renders (characters) look way to fat or way to thin.

It's okay, but before you post them, try to resize them. Also, these are nice. I see some small issues, but nothing that you cannot improve on!

Back on topic, I see some have been asking to help me. Well if you view the 2nd and 3rd posts on the thread that I've reserved, you'll now see that they've changed. So if you want to work, check 'em out!

Page breaks by images is against the rules.

Great idea. I sent an application for one.

Here's a suggestion though.

You might want to add "Additional Info" to your application.
That could cover any "specifics" needed by the forumer.

Good idea. This was supposed to be closed already however, so your avatar will be the last for a while. I will be opening this back up in a month or so.
